As far as cookies are concerned www.mysite.com and mysite.com are two separate domains. I recommend sticking to one or the other.

You can also try setting the cookies domain in the Admin CP to:

    .mysite.com

    Note the leading period.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Cookies and HTTP Header Option -> Cookie Domain

IMO, I would setup a rewrite rule that rewrites anything from domain.com to www.domain.com. Do it as a 301 redirect so search engines will know it's been permanently moved to www.domain.com.

Like Steve said, domain.com and www.domain.com are two different domains.

Good to hear you have your issue resolved. However, as I mentioned in my post, I would do a rewrite rule if you want consistency in search results. Like we said before http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=297210 and http://vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=297210 are viewed differently to Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc unless you setup a 301 rewrite rule that directs all traffic to the www version. This helps with search engine results. (if you care about search engine traffic )
