I just bought the license on October 10, 2001. It is a one year leased license. I have no use for it now as I have no web host to host my forums. I paid $85 for it on the 10th. I'll sell it for $75.

Well I had one but they shut me down since I only had forums running on the space, no real site. And I didn't have the time to make and update a site so I'm just going to sell the vB.

Well, then it was a bad host shutting you down with that reason. Actually they shouldn't care whether you have a site or only a forum as long as you pay for it...

Why would they care what you have on your site? (a board, or whatever)

he was using a super-discount ($3.95/month) hosting site. they obviously didn't expect anyone to build a real site there with prices like that and used it as an excuse to close his.

I knew that price was too good, Chris.

Oh, well there are many hosts that have plans around $10 per month.
If you/he can afford $4 per month, $10 is not that much more.
