[RELEASE newsfader for all vb version.(11* to 2.0*)]

This hack is write by gogosoft and edit by ztsky.
I have post it before,but in Chinese.Many people PM or email me want to get a English version,So I re-release it in English.
This hack can work on all vb versions
File to be edit:
admin/index.php
index.php
template to be edit:
forumhome
how to install it? :
down zip file.
there are three files in it.
fader.js newsfade.php and installnews.txt
**********upload NEWSFADER.PHP to you vb/ADMIN
**********upload FADER.JS to your vb/
**********edit you file or template as installnews.txt
**********upload edied file.
**********go to you vb/ADMIN modify or post a news!

theres acouple problems

1. Doesnt match sites colors
2. The last Member isnt working


i can fix the colors but i dont know about the last member to post

how do i make the white be the back ground color

how do i make the link color be the normal link

how do i make the font color to be normal

and the final problem
how do i get the borders to be fixed (bottom of forum, because of newsfader it has the on off table bg as the boarder color)


other than those problems im facing It's a good hack

the news colors are in fader.js
open this file you'll look:

 FDRboxWid = 600;
   FDRboxHgt = 20;
   FDRborWid = 0;
   FDRborCol = "#070707";
   FDRborSty = "solid";
   FDRbackCol = "#f7f7f7";
   FDRboxPad = 4;

this can edot to control news width and colors
the news bgcollor is in forumhome template
Look this:
<tr><td colspan=6 bgcolor="#f7f7f7" height=30 valign="top" align="center">
You can edit this #f7f7f7 as you like.
You can easily do all colors and width\height

just try it.

plz do as the install.txt!!

in add in forumhome:
style="position:relative;visibility:hidden;width:500">
width:500 you an edit it as you like.

It didn't work

The news is not displaying.
I followed all the instructions in the install.txt file.
I just see a blank table with the heading of Forum News.
Can someone help me

I added the news in the cp....still it is not displayed.
I also tried with 2 news
